AVID

AVID is a college-readiness program designed to help students develop the skills and habits necessary for success in high school, college, and beyond! We focus on first-generation college-bound students and those from economically disadvantaged or underserved backgrounds. 

AVID provides:

Academic Support

• Build a strong academic foundation
• Get support in core classes through tutorials led by trained tutors
• Learn note-taking strategies

Personal Growth

• Develop time management and critical thinking skills
• Participate in leadership opportunities and motivational activities
• Build strong friendships with peers

College Bound

• Dive into college and career exploration
• Participate in advanced and challenging courses
• Visit and explore California college campuses
